Kit’s book noted that the elementals who did cross over of their own volition were drawn by curiosity, and that gateways tended to be one-way; most humans weren’t inherently magical enough to manage any crossings into inhuman planes.
He didn’t mind that. His job was hard enough without mystic portals. Enough minor misuse of levitation and illusion and fire-starting for the whole Preternatural Division office for a lifetime, thank you.
