Tabitha ended up having to leave me alone with Daylan as she had to attend to something important at work. I had no choice but to take Daylan up on his offer to drive me home. It was early evening as we drove back to my apartment. It was awkward but silent as I focused on the traffic ahead of us and how beautiful the sunset was.
