“Chaos by the lake,” a deep voice calls out through the mind link. Beta Jaw sighs, looking at me before responding, “we’ll take it. We’re just around the corner at the guard post anyway.”
Beta Jax, Delta Marcus and I turn back, our wolves racing through the forest in unison like a wild force until we make the turn at the bend. “Talk about a party, why wasn’t I invited?” Beta Jax says through the mind link as our paws dig into the sand. The beach is packed with young shifters of all ages, each one enjoying the long anticipated warm weather. The booze is free flowing while sweaty bodies press up against each other, dancing to the loud music that thumps through the air.
