Vanessa's jaw dropped and her hands covered her mouth as if to hold all the shock inside her. “What do you mean he mysteriously disappeared? You said he was on cleaning duty at the club last night!" Malik went to reach for her but she pulled back, “You're not just saying this to keep me away from him are you?" she asked.
Malik dropped his hand and shook his head, “No, he really has disappeared."
Vanessa hit his arm and he winced in pain, “Why didn't you say anything?! Or did it not matter because you forbade me from seeing him anyway?"
