When the Maybach-Pullman pulled over at Scarlett’s building, Cattleya ordered, “Go fetch her, Siegfried.” It was raining lightly. She looked out the blurry tainted black window, through the droplets of water, seeing the silhouette of a familiar woman walking out of the apartment.
She couldn’t help but smile. She stepped outside along with her chief bodyguard and he exclaimed, disapproving her action, “It’s raining, Cattleya.”
He grabbed the umbrella, opening it above her head when she brushed him off, “It’s just a little rain. Go fetch the girl.”
Before heading inside, Siegfried politely acknowledged Megan by her title, “Captain.” Megan curtly nodded at him and then broke into a smile upon seeing Cattleya, “I could use a beer right now, Cat.”
