“Please tell me that some of the history you shoved down my throat months ago was right…” Morgan asked as he followed the call back to Akir’s room.
“You know as well as I do that I only fibbed lightly,” Ejder sounded wounded as he delivered his answer.
“It really doesn’t make me feel any better that Ria’s show and tell was more accurate than what a dragon was paraphrasing for me. I mean did you even want to try the truth at any point before meeting her?”
Ejder sighed.
“For the last time. I did not think we would be here. I said what I had to within reason.”
“Within reason…”
“Don’t say it like that. You weren’t exactly the easiest thing to be attached to.”
“Yeah okay. I’m going on and doing all of these quests with you now. You could probably give me a little credit,” Morgan shot
