“What the hell just happened?” Morgan groaned.
It felt as if he was shot out of a cannon. Not that Morgan had any experience with such a thing but the impact was terrible. His muscles still trembled from the dissipating pressure all around the three.
“What did you do? Grant?” he quickly turned around assessing his surroundings.
He isn’t sure if he should be relieved or enraged when Grant reared up in fury. Grant refused to bother with him after though. The kelpie raced off, his body moved in jerky motions as if it was being attacked by something unseen. Grant was more dramatic than Bryson though, he nodded to himself, then checked around for the other brother.
“You have the pieces now,” Bryson said, standing just above the surface of the water as his human.
