With his remaining strength he conjured yet another spell that ran like circuitry through his fingers, linking them together. That was new. Morgan spread his fingers and the runes sizzled and sparked as they kept the line taut. He guided the line from his index finger back behind his shoulders to stitch into him. His first application was obscenely painful. It dug into his muscle tissue there but refused to pull the two sides together. Instead, it rebuilt the tissue until the interior was completed before moving to the next gash.  Morgan didn’t have to cut a line or start again for any of the others until his uppermost wounds would be filled.
