Tomorrow is my birthday and I don't have any excitement or any sort of feeling. I'm feeling hollow in my chest. I don't quite like the feeling, like something bad is going to happen.
Then I remembered that man, from my dream. It's like I heard those voices before. `` Lucky my love, I'm coming for you,'' a cold shudder ran down my spine as tears began to roll down from my eyes as I remembered his words.
Who is he? What does he want? How does he know my name? why did he call me love? and why did he say finally you came? my mind is in a mess right now.
Suddenly my phone rang. I reached for my phone and turned it on to see Gini's text message.
' be prepared lucy. Ben is coming at 9 pm. and we are going to meet in the woods.'
I sighed. Just as I was about to get out of bed, my phone rang again, telling me another text message came in.
to my surprise, it was from Michelle. my brows knitted together, why was he texting me? I decided to open it, and read;
Michelle
' Hey, lucy. got something important to talk to you about. Come and meet me at the lake in the woods. Please, it's a request.'
as I read the message, my eyes grew bigger. Did he just plead to meet me? But why? I am sure it's another prank. so I texted back.

' I'm not going to fall for your dirty tricks, Michelle. I am not going anywhere.'
I waited for his reply, and it came quickly.
Michelle
' I'm not tricking you in anything. believe me. I have something to say to you. if you are concerned about Sara, well, she has gone to the town for shopping, for the alpha ceremony and the ball.'
I realised that after my birthday, it was Michelle's alpha ceremony and after a few days it was the ball. And I know for a fact every she-wolf was going to try their best for the ball. And this year they will work harder to look their best. as I heard my father and my brother saying the alpha king will be here and he is un-mated. so, the craze is on another level this year. I decided to meet and I wanted to hear what he has to say.

' ok. we will meet at six.'
I don't know why, but the thought of meeting Michelle turns my stomach.
I decided to take a shower and get ready. I have a feeling today is gonna be a long one.
As I got out of the bathroom I went to my closet and pulled out dark blue jeans and a white off-shoulder top. afterwards, I pulled my hair in a single Dutch braid and wore a pair of studs and a necklace which had a single diamond that Ben gifted me for my birthday last year, and I loved it. And now I am ready to face whatever is coming. I took a deep breath and went downstairs.

" don't bring up any topic related to Lucy's health or mood," I said to everyone as we sat in the hall.
I know sooner or later she is going to find out everything. Since it's her 18th birthday, I wish to celebrate it with happiness.
" what if she left, after knowing the truth?" Thomas said.
" no," I said as I broke into tears. I don't want my baby girl to leave us. The mere thought of her leaving us broke my heart. She is my baby.
" Thomas," his father and grandmother both said angrily.
" Well, I'm just saying the possibilities!" he said annoyingly.
when I was about to do something. I heard Lucy's voice. I immediately wiped away my tears. a smile stretched across my face as I saw Lucy in a good mood.
" Hey everyone," Lucy said as she walked down the stairs.
I let out a breath of relief because she doesn't have a wolf hearing to hear our conversation.
" Were you going somewhere, honey?" I asked sweetly.
" Yes, mom. I'm going to meet gini. and we are going to hang out tonight together." she replied.
" oh, that's wonderful honey!" I said happily. finally, she is going back to normal again.

" Were you going somewhere honey?" mum asked.
" Yes, mom. I am going to meet gini. and we are going to hang out together," I lied. I don't want them to be worried about me all the time.
If I told them I'm going to meet Michelle, I would have explained a lot of things.
" oh, that's wonderful honey!" she said happily. I know she is happy probably because I came out of my shell, my room finally.
" Okay, everyone," I said.
" Wait up!! I will drop you." Thomas said as he stood up.
" Oh no, she is coming to get me," I lied again.
" ok," he replied.
With that, I left the house. I walked towards the woods. After 5 minutes of walking, I heard something or someone calling. so, I tried to listen carefully.

I stopped in my tracks. as I realised the voice, the very male voice from my dream, dread overtook me.
' oh no, this is not happening.'
I fasten my pace towards the lake. I know it's not my imagination. and I heard it again.
' lucy '
' love, I'm coming for you lucy '
' you and I will be together this time '
' oh, no, this is not happening.' I said to myself to calm my racing heart.
I need to talk to my family. I can't let this happen to me always or I'll lose my mind. I know this is real after my dreams. Now I'm hearing voices when I'm fully awake. whoever this is, I'm scared of him now. His voice held possessiveness and determination. I can't take this lightly. If he can do something that is forbidden, he can do anything.
as I approached the lake Michelle was already waiting there. looking at him all my thoughts went back into my mind.
my heart missed a beat as I looked at him. He is wearing black jeans, with a black t-shirt. He is looking very handsome. His hair was combed back. as he was leaning against a tree.
realising my presence, he looked up at me and inhaled sharply. and for a second I saw something in his eyes.
I walked slowly as I don't know what I should do when he is looking at me with so much intensity.
