We began to walk towards the car in comfortable silence. Ben told Gini through the mind link that he'll wait for us in the car.

There are so many questions that I want answers to.

I turned 18 tonight, why haven't I received my wolf yet? I know my parents said I was a late bloomer but still, other kids got their wolf at the age of 13, and here I am.

" Ready?" Ben said, tearing me away from my chain of thoughts.

" Yes!" We said in unison.

Ben parked his car in front of his house as we don't want any unwanted trouble for him.

After we got out of the car, he went on to check the patrol and the pack house tower in his wolf form, where the book was kept in a tower library.

While Gini and I changed our clothes in back leggings and black hoodies. Gini suggested we should mask our scent as werewolves can smell us from miles away, so she bought a spray that can mask our scents.

While mind-linking Ben, I was fidgeting about my feelings.

Am I sure? Am I ready to face whatever is coming my way? They are my biological parents, aren't they?

One lone teardrop rolled down my cheek as I quickly wiped it away.

" Everything is clear, we shall move," Gini said as I faced her. I just nodded at her. I am saving my emotions for later.

Ben met us halfway dressed in all black.

We didn't talk to each other as they know what I'm going through right now.

The route Ben picked it's through the woods as he didn't want to give any clue who it was if anything goes wrong. If they find out that someone tried to break into the tower library it might cause a series of problems or worse they might cast us out.

As we were walking a strong breeze touched us. I immediately looked up to see anything, any sign, but Ben and Gini were still walking cluelessly. I know it was not just a breeze.

After 10 minutes of walking, we reached the back of the pack house. Where the kitchen is.

Ben gestured that he will go first and will link Gini if everything is clear. We just nodded at him.

After a few moments Gini mouthed me to follow her, it's all cleared. Everyone is sleeping.

We tip-toed to the terrace. Where the library is. After reaching there it was another disappointment. It was locked with some kind of ancient lock. Gini let her wolf paw out to break the lock but it was in vain. Ben did the same but it was of no result.

I traced the lock to feel it carved when suddenly we heard the 'click' sound. All looked at each other with wide eyes as we all knew the lock had just unlocked with my touch.

We didn't bother anymore. Ben came forward and opened the door for me as we got inside. It has many books and I can see all are ancient, maybe the records of our history.

Ben gestured to us to find the book as soon as possible. He also said the book will appear in front of the person who is seeking knowledge without any evil intention.

We quickly got to work. After searching every shelf we couldn't find the book. When my eyes caught some movements in a room. I think I saw some lights coming from.

I tugged at Gini's sleeve to gesture at her towards the room as she linked Ben.

I pushed the door open and there it was on a stand all the lights were coming from the book.

I walked towards the stand in slow, tentative steps.

After I reached close enough, I stood in front of it to touch it. But before I could touch it, it opened slowly. My eyes went wide.

I looked up to see Ben and Gini both looking with wide eyes as well.

I slowly calmed myself down to read it.

' gala who is a blind woman who can see the vision. Predicted that there will be war between werewolves, vampires and rouges. There will be no end and no one can end the war. At that time Selene will send her blood to stop all those who will inherit magic and the rare quality of wolf no one knew existed.

After six months after her prediction, she died from a heart attack.

Another six months passed, and when things started to get ugly rouges appeared and destroyed many small packs and killed hundreds of wolves.

News spread like fire every pack in the world took precautions and sent more warriors for their patrols.

On the full moon night when a warrior from the blue moon pack was patrolling and found an infant under a tree.

Her skin was glowing in some kind of energetic blue light. Her eyes were sapphire that no one had ever seen and on her forehead, there was a mark of a half moon.

The warrior knew at that moment who she was and took her in her care. He knew if anyone came to know who she was. They might try to hurt her or worse, use her.

He took her home and named her Lucy.'

Tears are uncontrollably rolling down my cheeks. They are telling the truth all along.

Why did the moon goddess choose me among all? I wiped away the tears from my face with the back of my hands.

I want the answers to my dreams. So I went on.

Lucifer hid for 105 years. But he came back again as his witches had a vision of Lucy who was the blessing of the moon goddess herself.

The war will break out again. And there will be chaos and innocents will die.

Lucy and the king will stop the war and bring peace

A gasp escaped from Gini's mouth and I saw tears in their eyes while they were looking at me with what looked like pity.

We all went alert when we heard footsteps coming from outside.
