Chapter FifteenCornell woke up from a fitful rest, the sun was shining through the window. There was no vampire standing over him so he supposed it wasn't all bad. He got up and spent the next thirty minutes taking care of all the morning stuff he did every day. He just about called Jenny but decided against it. She didn't need anymore pressure from him or anyone else.
He walked to the computer and turned it on. It only took a few seconds to get to the worksite, but once he did he saw there were no messages.
