Chapter Nine“Oh, Loa, please don't hurt me. I think I know who you are,” Elrond said just before he tried to scream. Cornell closed the distance and put his hand over the mouth. “Quiet, we're going for a quick ride, too,” he said. He quietly opened the window without a sound with his left hand. Cornell grabbed him with the other hand and together they flew into the star filled sky.
“Talk,” he said in his altered voice. “I don't know anything,” Elrond replied as the two of them flew higher into the cold air. “Really. I could have sworn they were guarding you to prevent someone like me from getting a hold of you, now talk,” Cornell said to him again. “If you don't talk. I'm dropping you,” he finished. Elrond looked at the steadily shrinking desert under him.
