10 MOST NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS IN PHILIPPINE HISTORY ✔️??
1. ASIONG SALONGA
"Here’s another lawbreaker from Tondo, Manila. A notorious gang leader Asing Salonga struck fear in the very heart of Tondo, going against rival gangs operating in the area. A host of crimes including murder and homicide have been attributed to him but he always manages to come out clean.
On October 7, 1951 while out drinking after a baptism, he was gunned by a henchman of a rival group. He was only 27."
2. LEO ECHEGARAY
"As the first Filipino convict to be meted out death by lethal injection Leo Echegaray’s name solicits fear among many Filipinos. And rightfully so. Convicted of the crime of raping his own daughter several times, Echegaray was executed on the 5th day of February, 1999."
3. BINGBONG CRISOLOGO
"Born to a good family, Bingbong is the son of the Governor of Ilocos Sur but soon made headlines spreading terror all over the province in a spate of crimes. He was eventually imprisoned in Muntinlupa after sentenced to double life imprisonment for arson."
4. BABY AMA
"Baby Ama got his moniker because of his baby face good looks. Born poor in the streets of Tondo, Manila, he soon found his way to jail for thievery. His handsome face got the better of him though as he was repeatedly sodomized in prison. However, the final straw that broke the camel’s back was when his pregnant wife was allegedly raped by a prison guard, an event which pushed her to commit suicide. With all the hate inside of him, Baby Ama rose to become the leader of “Sige sige” gang, a group which under his leadership took part in the largest jail-riot againt a rival gang “Oxo oxo” in Muntinlupa which ended in 9 prisoners dead with 1 beheaded. Although pardoned and his sentence was commuted to life, Baby Ama was still electrocuted in 1961. He was 16 years old."
5. NARDONG PUTIK
"Another outlaw portrayed in film, but this time of a much older man. Nardong Putik’s name started hitting the headlines while still young as one of the alleged participant in the Maragondon m******e, a bloodbath where the mayor along the police chief and several policemen were murdered by hunting knives-wielding criminals. He was imprisoned by he eventually escaped, a pattern that will soon be his trademark.
Portrayed by the “anting-anting” master Sen. Ramon Revilla, Nardong Putik’s celebrated escapes made him notorious and was eventually sentenced to 182 years imprisonment. He escaped again in 1969 and rose to become Cavite’s Public Enemy No. 1 as the leader of a notorious gang operating drugs, smuggling, carnapping ring. After a massive manhunt, the long arm finally caught up with the “Robin Hood” of Cavite and was killed inside his red Impala car by a rain of bullets coming from 20 NBI agents led by agent Epimaco Velasco. He was 47. Masses liked him because he was generous to them."
6. BUTCH BELGICA
"Butch was one of the youngest gang leaders in the underworld and was convicted in a sensational homicide case. He was a radical that was indoctrinated by the Communist. However, his story had a happy ending as he soon found his calling in serving God. He spent his prison days writing exposing the injustices of the system from within."
7. BEN TUMBLING
"Ben Tumbling is a former stuntman turned police hater turned multi-faceted criminal. His exploits have come to include robberies, drug trafficking and murder. To his account, 7 policemen have been shot dead. Hailing from Malabon, he soon gained notoriety as the feared policeman killer. His hatred for the police has similar roots to another A-lister here, Baby Ama, as allegedly his young wife was raped by police while he suffered from police brutality, his genitals electrocuted and his head hit hard by a chair.
As fate would have it, Ben’s acrobatic life ended on Friday the 13th of March 1981 in the hands of police who chased and shot him. It is said that people of Malabon wept openly because of the incident. He was 23 years old."
8. ALVIN FLORES
"Trained and recruited by the feared ABB, Alex Boncayao Brigade, Alvin soon found a way to utilize his newfound skills towards a more lucrative end. Putting up a gang, his name was soon linked to a series of daring robberies including the Greenbelt 5 heist in 2009. He soon ran out of luck even with his supposedly changed image (he had a plastic surgery) and was gunned down in Compostela, Cebu."
9. WAWAY
"This one is from Cebu and it seems he has a boundless appetite for raping women. Rumor has it that Waway has supernatural powers and is bent on raping and slaying 40 people a day. He has stricken fear so much in the ordinary Cebuanos that his posters bearing his photo are spread all over the island. For the record, a string of suits involving rape has been filed against him but most are settled out of court.
Waway was never put to jail and his name eventually became useful as a deterrent against minors in staying late."
10. ROMEO JALOSJOS
"Jalosjos is a political kingpin coming from a rich clan who it is said owns some shares in TV Network GMA and is also the owner/operator of posh beach resort Dakak. He found fame as the congressman representative of Zamboanga del Norte but fell out of grace when he was convicted of raping an 11-year-old girl in 1996.
His sentence has been commuted by President Arroyo and he walked out of prison in 2009. However, the Supreme Court has decided with finality in 2013 that he could no longer hold a public office."And also this case – Praewa Thephasadin Na Ayudhya. She was 16 when the accident happened. Nine victims were killed. For this case, back then there was also a hashtag #แพรวา9ศพ (Praewa and 9 bodies) to demand justices to the victims and their families, similar to the hashtag Minnie and the 4 bodies in Girl From Nowhere.
"Nearly nine years after a wealthy teen killed nine people in a car crash, victims came forward Tuesday to say they have yet to receive an apology, much less compensation.
Orachorn “Praewa” Thephasadin Na Ayudhya was 16 when she drove her car into a Thammasat University van on Dec. 27, 2010, killing nine people. Since then, she’s become a symbol of the wealthy and powerful avoiding jail after committing serious crimes. Instead of time in prison, she was ordered to serve 138 hours of community service, which was only completed in 2016.
Now victims are saying that they haven’t even been compensated for the death of their relatives and injuries, even though the civil case against Praewa finally ended on May 8. It also emerged that Praewa’s family identified themselves as “an esteemed family in society” in a court argument to prolong the compensation dispute.
“I conceded to everything, did everything the court wanted. I was quiet for nine years, but I can’t take it anymore,” Warunyoo Ketchoo, a survivor of the crash, wrote on Twitter. “I know it was an accident, but it’s about what people have to do for each other after it occurred.”
Compensation was supposed to be paid within 30 days, but none of the victims have received any more than two months after the resolution of the case. In a series of tweets posted today, Warunyoo said that Praewa’s legal representatives kept slashing down the agreed-upon compensation after the crash, which left Warunyoo with multiple broken bones. He was confined to a hospital bed for two months.
Warunyoo, who was 20 at the time of the accident, said the only time he ever spoke to Praewa was when she came to visit him in hospital.
“She came in a wheelchair and her mom did all the talking. Her mom told her to apologize, and she said ‘I’m sorry.’ Then she gave me some Baan Ayakan desserts and took a photo … the nurse told me that Praewa was walking but asked for a wheelchair at the ward,” he wrote.
Warunyoo then suffered years of medical expenses and pain. Court proceedings dragged on in the Criminal Court, Court of Appeals, then the Civil Court, with Praewa’s lawyer pushing for lower and lower compensation. In April 2017, total restitution was cut down from 30 million baht to 19.8 million baht for the nine families.
“[The lawyer] bargained like he was buying vegetables and fish … He argued that she was from the Thephasadin Na Ayudhya family which has done good for the country – it really says that in the documents,” wrote Warunyoo, who posted an image of court files as proof.
According to court documents, Praewa appears to have changed her name from Orachorn to Buabuchaa. She is 25 today. After her marriage in 2014 to former National Legislative Assembly member Sorawee Ratpitakteerada, she changed her name again to Rawinpirom Arunwong.
Even Praewa’s lawyer, Theerawut Arunwong, was absent at the last civil court hearing in May, according to Warunyoo.
In an interview with Thairath TV, four parents of the victims who perished in the crash confirmed that they have received no monetary compensation.
“Since then we’ve received not a single word from her, not even a phone call,” said Saran Ningwan, the father of Sudawadee Ningwan who died in the crash.
“Since December 27, 2010, we’ve received nothing, not even a friendly look or a smile from [Praewa] or any member of her family,” Chutima Ningwan, Sudawadee’s mother, added.
Thawin Chaotiang, the adoptive mother of a doctor who died in the crash, echoed that the defendant’s legal representatives were less than cordial.
“They spoke to me to the tune of, ‘You want some cash? Then keep fighting.’”
An image of Praewa texting next to her crashed car has become a symbol of the Thai justice system’s leniency, which seems to be reserved only for the wealthy and powerful.
Since the crash, Thailand’s seen several high-profile cases in which influential figures have managed to escape harsh punishment for alleged crimes.
An actress avoided jail time after crashing and killing a cop, businessman Jenphop Viraporn is out on bail for killing two students in a car crash, and a Red Bull heir skipped town after crashing into and killing a policeman in 2012.
A construction mogul is also out on bail after being sentenced to jail for bribery charges related to the killing of a black panther." RAPE OF PEPSI PALOMA
We were having lunch while watching “Eat Bulaga”, the popular noontime variety show on cable GMA TV, when someone commented that, according to what he read on f*******:, two of the show’s hosts, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, were involved in the gang rape of a Filipino American actress named Pepsi Paloma back in 1982.
This news surprised me but three young Filipinos, all below 21 and recent immigrants, who were also watching the show with us, chimed in and said that they also knew of the Pepsi Paloma rape. I asked them how that could be when it occurred long before they were born. They said they learned of the rape from the song “Spolarium” sung by the Eraserheads, a popular Filipino rock band of the 1990s.
I was puzzled as I knew the Eraserheads band had stopped performing more than a decade ago so I asked them how they even heard of the song. The three looked at each other as if wondering why I was asking such a silly question when everybody knows that the Internet makes songs of the past readily available to the present.
I went online, googled the Spolarium by the Eraserheads, and watched the group perform the song on YouTube. These were the lyrics that the three kids referred to: “umiyak ang umaga, anong sinulat ni enteng at joey dyan, sa gintong salamin, di ko na mabasa pagkat merong nagbura ahhh...” (The morning cried, what did enteng and joey write in the golden mirror I couldn’t read because someone erased it). I also learned from the kids that university professors regularly discuss the song and its meaning in their classes.
According to the kids, “enteng” is Vic Sotto and “joey” is Joey de Leon and they wrote a confession to to the gang rape but it was erased, they said, by Vic’s older brother, Sen. Tito Sotto, who somehow convinced Pepsi Paloma to withdraw her rape charge against his brother and his cohorts.
When I googled “Pepsi Paloma”, I saw the video that had been downloaded on f*******: by perhaps as many as 66,000 viewers. The “eat bulaga - Pepsi Paloma story” reported through power point presentation the story of Delia Smith, the eldest daughter of Lydia Duenas, a native of Borac, Northern Samar, and an American letter carrier, Kenneth Smith, who deserted his family when the children were still young. Because of her daughter’s good looks, her mother brought her to the attention of a manager who starred her in a soft porn movie called Brown Emmanuelle in 1981.
A year later, Pepsi Paloma reported to the police that she had been drugged by the three comedian hosts of Eat Bulaga - Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and Richie D’Horsey (Richie Reyes) - who then took turns raping her.
Pepsi’s mother sought the legal assistance of Sen. Rene Cayetano (the father of Sen. Pia Cayetano and Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano) to serve as the private prosecutor of the case which made the headlines of the major newspapers. If convicted of the rape charge, the three comedians faced the death penalty, a sentence that was meted out previously on June 26, 1967, to the four men convicted of raping movie star Maggie dela Riva. Three of the dela Riva rapists were executed in 1972 on live TV while the fourth escaped the electric chair by dying in prison.
To prevent the same fate from happening to his brother, Sen. Tito Sotto, went to see Pepsi Paloma. According to her account of this visit, Pepsi said that Sen. Sotto “coerced” her into signing an “Affidavit of Desistance” dropping the rape complaint. But how could that affidavit be legal when she was only 14 when she signed it and without the presence of her attorney?
In her November 3, 2012 column in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Rina Jimenez David reported that: “Paloma eventually dropped the charges after she was allegedly visited by one of the trio who said he had only talked with her, but only after placing a pistol on the table in front of her.”
As a result of this signed affidavit, no criminal charges were filed against the three comedians even after they made a public apology to Pepsi Paloma for raping her when she was only 14.
Three years after her rape, on May 31, 1985, Pepsi was found dead in her apartment with a rope around her neck. The police concluded that it was a suicide caused by monetary problems, a motive disputed by her manager, Babette Corcuerra, who said that Pepsi was financially secure and was looking forward to acting in three movies. The suspicion persists that she was murdered barely a year before she was set to celebrate her 18th birthday.
“Eat Bulaga” is now entering its 35th year as the longest-running noontime variety program on air in the history of television making millionaires of its comedic stars. Sen. Tito Sotto is still in the Philippine Senate serving as the proud champion of the Roman Catholic Church in his staunch opposition to the Reproductive Health Act and to all forms of contraception.
Pepsi Paloma would have celebrated her 47th birthday year

I am too bored that I decided to open my t****k App to scroll for some videos. There are lots of duets, dance covers and song covers, as well. But one video caught my full attention.
A video of a man being praised by how he looks.
"He is a criminal, his face will never change that!" komento ng isa. Gaya ng inaasahan, maraming kumontra sa komentong iyon. 1 is to hundrendths of contradictions.
"What do you know about what had happened?"
"Bawal ba magbago 'yong tao?"
"24 years imprisonment is too much!"
Sobrang daming argumento. Maraming nagtatanggol sa lalaki. Hangang-hanga sila sa mukha, hindi man lang iniisip na may mga inosenteng buhay na nawala dahil sa lalaking iyon.
There I decided to comment. Nakisali na rin ako. "What if the criminal was not as good-looking as that man? I am sure, all of you would be so harsh and even wish that man to rot in hell!"
Many girls reacted violently, again. Still protecting that man, huh?
I start to reminisce my father's memory. He is now in heaven, I guess. Nakabangga rin siya, but that was a completely accident, unintentional. Iniwasan niya lang ang school bus kaya nakabangga siya ng mag-ina.
Mas pinili ng tatay ko na iligtas ang maraming buhay at hindi niya rin gusto na mawala ang mag-inang iyon. But what? Kinuyog siya ng mga tao. Pinagpiyestahan sa social media. Pinatay habang dinidinig ang kaso niya.
He's not good-looking, he's not rich. And this is toxicity. Riches and face matter. Kung maitsura ba ang mga kriminal, exempted na sila sa batas?
Kung mayaman at maitsura din ba ang tatay ko, buhay pa kaya siya at tatanggap pa ng papuri sa iba?
They fall inlove with a criminal. There's no equality nor equity. Ibang usapan talaga kapag itsura at yaman na ang pinag-uusapan. Pero kapag wala ka ng dalawang nabanggit, pagkabulok sa impyerno ang hiling ng mga tao para sa iyo.
What a pretty privilege for a criminal named Cameron Herrin.

??: In November 2009, it was reported that a female sasaeng fan of Vincenzo actor Ok Taecyeon gave him a letter that was written from her menstrual blood (???) with the words:
“? ???????? ?? ???????? ?? ?????? ?????-??????. ?? ????????, ??? ?????? ???? ??????? ?? ????????? ???? ? ??? ??????? ?? ?? ?????.”

In South Korean culture, a sasaeng, or sasaeng fan, is an obsessive fan who stalks, or engages in other behaviour constituting an invasion of the privacy of a Korean idol or other public figure. The term sasaeng comes from the Korean words sa (Korean: 사; Hanja: *) meaning "private" and saeng (Korean: 생; Hanja: *) meaning "life", in reference to the fans' intrusion into celebrities' private lives.
According to the estimates of celebrity managers in the Korean media, popular Korean celebrities may have "between 500 and 1,000 sasaeng fans", and be actively followed by about 100 sasaeng fans every day.
Sasaeng fans are described as often being female, aged 17 to 22, and driven to commit what in some cases may amount to borderline criminal acts in order to gain attention from celebrities. Examples of such acts include seeking out celebrities at their dorms or homes, stealing their personal belongings or information, harassing family members, and sending idols inappropriate gifts such as lingerie.
Many sasaengs are motivated by a desire to gain recognition from their idols and stand out from other fans. One sasaeng fan interviewed gave an explanation for this obsessive behavior:
I feel like I get to know more about and get closer to the idol I love. If I go to a concert, there are thousands of people attending, so the idol would not know who I am. But if I become sasaeng, they will recognize me. If I keep telling them, 'I am so-and-so. I saw you at that place before. I am so-and-so', they will start to take note of me and ask 'Did you come again today?' To sasaeng fans, being recognized by idols is a good thing.
The actions of sasaeng fans can have a psychological impact on some idols. D.O from EXO, said in an interview that he had developed a "victim mentality" due to sasaengs, and that it had severely affected his public appearances and activities.
In 2016, Heechul of Super Junior described feelings of paranoia, and the trauma that the actions of certain sasaeng fans had caused him.
Sasaengs have developed various methods for obtaining information about idols, and have formed a sasaeng network to share information and form groups to accomplish tasks. It has been noted that sasaeng fans old enough to work will try to get jobs in industries bringing them closer either to their idols or to information concerning them. Target employers may include airline companies, phone companies, and credit card companies.Did I ever tell y’all about the time I rode 11 hours to Omaha with a complete stranger to watch Mississippi State play in the College World Series? If not, well let me tell you.
Four days ago I was going back and forth on making the trip to Omaha. I’ve never been and it’s always been on my bucket list. Kayla said this might be a once in a lifetime opportunity and that I really should go. After some back and forth and me making cases for why I should stay, she convinced me to go. Problem is I had no one to go with me. I reached out to friends and my brother and no one could go.
I’m pretty active on twitter. I love Mississippi State and most of the people who follow me and I follow back on there love them too. There was another guy who was in the same boat as far as going alone. We had never had a conversation or even followed each other until 4 days ago.
We reached out to each other and decided to give this trip some real consideration. Kayla didn’t want me driving alone and his wife also didn’t want him driving alone. Both of our wives didn’t want either of us to ride with strangers. So after our wives FaceTimed each other and we screenshot each other’s pictures the trip was on.
I told people what I was doing and every person I talked to said they wouldn’t do what I was doing. I’ve seen my fair share of Criminal Minds and similar shows/movies. I knew I didn’t want to become a statistic. I know the world is crazy but I’m still convinced there’s more good than bad.
That being said we met in New Albany around 10:15pm. I had plans on quoting Step Brothers “Did we just become best friends……yep” and before I could say a word he said “you wanna be best friends for a few days?” I was like okay this is going to work. Kayla snuck a picture of his tag for safety purposes lol. I told him I was going to take a picture of him and post it and tell everyone if I died he was the one who killed me.
We hit the road. 11 hours to go. Didn’t know each other so I knew it would be awkward. Did the typical work questions, family questions, and then sports talk. He asked me what kind of music I listen to and I said I didn’t really care. Listen to whatever he wants since he was driving so he did….
Kayla texted me 30 minutes in to see how things were going. I sent a one word response…..bluegrass. This man listens to bluegrass. What have I got myself into? This is going to be a long long ride. I told him I felt like I was watching Oh Brother Where Art Thou. He laughed so all was good. I didn’t mind it after while and the road trip continued. We were up over 40 hours straight until we got to our hotel after game 1. We had faith we could bounce back though.
To sum up the rest of the trip….we cut up. We both knew only a few lines from a whole bunch of songs. We both quoted the same movies. We both loved Mississippi State. We dominated people in cornhole. A friendship was born.
We were both superstitious so we wore our lucky clothes for Game 2 and Game 3 and did the same thing each day including eating the same food both days, drinking the same drinks, going back to the truck to listen to the same songs, and walking through the same gate to get to the stadium. We screamed until our voices were gone. I sounded like I was going through puberty the way my voice squeaked during every chant.
All in all it was an amazing trip. I would do it all over again. I’m super glad he didn’t throw me in a hole and lower a bucket asking me to put lotion on my skin. I’m glad to not be a story on Dateline. I’m even more excited to have a new friend named Jacob that I got to watch State win a National Championship with. We are now friends for life. We are gonna get our families together and let the kids play. Hail State!
