THE next day, I decided to work from home. The nature of my work allows me to do that from time to time, but I always prefer to go to the office when I can. I don't really have to go to the production floor since Joshua is in charge of production, but I still want the employees to see me from time to time. I wanted my employees to know that I am available anytime when they need me.
I wasn't sure how I'd react if I saw Joshua today, and I didn't want to make a scene in the office, which prompted my decision to just stay at home today.
I sent a message to my assistant Nicole and told her to call me if needed. She seemed worried and asked if I was okay, and I assured her that I was. Since the company was opened, I am usually at the office, except for when I have to go out
