AFTER a few minutes, I managed to freshen up and pull myself together before heading back to the table. I found Joshua alone at the table when I arrived.
Joshua stood up immediately and said "Are you okay? You were in the restroom for a long time."
Liv: "Uhm, yeah. I'm okay. Don't worry."
I took my seat and looked at where Aaron was sitting before asking "Uhm, where's Aar-- Mr. Sy?"
Joshua: "Oh, he had to leave. He got a call and said that it was an emergency."
Liv: "Oh."
Joshua: "He left the contract for us to sign. He already signed it himself. He said to just have it couriered to the Village Supermalls office once we're done signing."
Liv: "Oh, okay."
I got curious and a little worried as to why Aaron had to leave. I wonder what kind of emergency he had.
