I slept for what must have been hours. However when I woke there was no light streaming in from the cracks in the curtains yet so it must not quite be morning. When I pulled them open, I could see the full moon high in the sky, so it had to be late. I dug around the covers, searching for Jace’s phone that I had fallen asleep with. Eventually, my hand bumped into the hard lump, and I dragged it out. According to this, it was already 3:00am There were no fresh scents in the room, so I know that the boys haven’t made it back at all yet. I wonder how they are getting on. My tummy began to rumble.
