Unexpected Encounter

Chapter 9

When Leander heard him, he lowered his head and asked with a frown on his handsome face, "What?"

Shawn bit the corner of his lips and stayed silent for a few minutes, almost like contemplating something. After a while, he finally talk with a very small voice. "Can we not disclose the matter of our marriage to anyone?"

After he spoken that words, he immediately felt the air grew heavy once again.

Shawn gulped loudly, and did not dare look up at him.

"My brother didn't know that I have broken up with my boyfriend. If I told him that I'm married to you, he will be shocked."

Actually, that's only one of the reasons he wanted to hide their relationship. Because Shawn could feel that their marriage won't last.

He might be passionate now, but he might find him boring later on and divorce him.

He wouldn't care if anyone else knew he was married but, Shane his brother was different.. He's the only person he cared the most and he do not want to disappoint him.

Shawn was still too young, and didn't know how to truly hide his emotions. And when Leander saw his expressions, he could immediately tell what he was thinking about.

Suddenly, Leander's face becomes more colder. And the atmosphere between them felt like much colder than before.

"You mean, you want to keep our marriage a secret."

He was Leander Martinez, he was never ignored like this before.

When some random woman or occasionally some men, was tangled with him in some kind of relationship, they couldn't wait to declare it to the world.

But this young man was different...

Thinking of this, Leander's expression become more dark, a and his eyes were so cold that a layer of ice started to condensed from it.

"I.." Shawn faced his gloomy eyes and scared shitless.

"Shawn." The man's slender pinched his jaw his eyes sharp and cold when he said, "You're mine. I am yours. And I'm the only man you have to think about. Because I have no intention of divorcing you, not now, not ever."

Then his fingers slightly tightened, his voice overbearing. "And you must not have that kind of thoughts either, do you hear me?"

His eyes were full of possessiveness, and his gaze was like that of a hunter locking its prey. And his prey was only belongs to him. No one can have it, even half.

Shawn was a little scared.

This was the firsf time, he met a man as domineering and powerful as him.

He seems ready to devour him at any time.

They walked towards his brother's ward.

Shawn was a little hesitant, but Leander was already reaching out, and opened the door.

Shane was reading, when he heard the door opening.

Shane's eye widen when he saw his brother came in with a tall handsome, elegant man who was holding him through his waist.

The book in his hands fell to the floor. And he gaped at them.

"Brother... You..."

Ever since he could remember, his older brother and Zeus was close friends, and it didn't even bother him when they ended up dating. He knew that he's brother was gay, and he was happy that Zeus reciprocated his brother's feelings.

Zeus was always been good to him, and Shane was satisfied that he was to become his brother-in-law.

And suddenly seeing his brother intimate with another man, Shane couldn't believe his eyes.

"He. Who is he??Brother....you.."

"Shane, he's...." While Shawn was still hesitant on how to introduce him, Leander was already slowly guiding him near Shane's bed, and then he looked down at Shane, and said.

"I am your brother-in-law."

Shawn went quiet. He couldn't even begin to imagine how Shane would react.

"W-what??" Shane was shocked once again, "You're my brother-in-law."

He turned to look at Shawn and it broke his heart when he saw how lost he was. "Brother what's going on? Isn't you're supposed to marry Zeus? What happened??!"

Leander's expression darkened a little when he heard him mentioned another man's name, and his solemn look was very intimidating.

Shane immediately shrank back.

Shawn doted on him the most, and instantly glared at Leander when he saw how afraid he was. "Why are you scaring my brother, he was a patient!"

Seeing how protective he was, Leander couldn't help but complain, "He's too timid for a boy, is this your doing?"

"It's you who's too terrifying.." As someone who was very protective of his brother, Shawn was a lot outspoken than before. He even started talking back at Leander. "He's usually not this timid."

While Shane, who's still lying in bed, finally snap out of his shocked. He looked at Shawn then turn his gaze to Leander. It's still hard to accept that they were together.

"Brother, is he really married to you?"

Shawn felt an intense glare directed at him the moment his brother asked that question. He paused for a moment then nod his head, "Yes."

Shane was stunned. "Then, you and Zeus..."

The terrifying brother-in-law glared at him again.

Shane stopped speaking, and he did not dared go on.

Shawn looked at him calmly and explained. "He and I have broken up."

Shane was taken aback. "Why?"

He stole a glance at Leander and suddenly thought of a possibility. And suddenly find himself uncomfortable.

This supposed brother-in-law was evidently a different league from Zeus.

He was more handsome than Zeus.

Has a more better temperament.

To be fair, Zeus was already a very decent man. But if you compare him to this man, the contrast was very stark.

One was a young master of an ordinary rich family, while the other was a powerful man with a background akin to that of a Royal Family. There was no room for discussion.

Shane wondered if his brother had cheated.

He despised such acts of unfaithfulness.

But Shawn is his biological brother.

If he really did it, what would he do?

Just as Shane's mind was full of thoughts on how to forgive his brother from acting shamefully, Shawn suddenly coldly said, "He got together with Cristina."

Shane was quiet for a moment, then his eyes widen with a mixture of shock and fury. "He cheated on you?! And with Cristina?! How dare them!!"

Shawn was expressionless, "In any case, he and I are over."

"Yes. That's right. They were not together anymore. And the man whose with him now, is me."
