Chapter 10Though he wasn’t a fan of flying, Dennick was impressed. He hadn’t realized Arie’s training had stretched to include piloting, but the flight to the remote spot Arie had chosen to abandon their would-be captors was smooth and uneventful. He was even more impressed that Arie had been thinking ahead, gathering necessary data to protect himself once his complicity was exposed. It was more than Dennick had done. Then again, he hadn’t expected to survive this entire escapade in the first place. When Arie landed the flyer, Dennick hauled each of their passengers out to the edge of the forest nearby.
