Chapter 5 To Save You

It was the stormiest night in China. Things didn't look good at all, but it was also a fact that the queen has returned from the mouth of death which is not easy to digest. As the King and queen returned to their palace, everyone's face has gone pale by seeing Queen Fu Hao alive. But there was someone among the crowd who didn't look 'okay' knowing that she is flourishing, but still disappointed as if he didn't want her to be alive.

It was the minister. It was a very odd feeling for King Wu that said to leave the palace as soon as possible. King Wu assumed that the queen might be tired after the fight and all the s**t happening, so he suggests Fu Hao rest. 

It was noon already and, the queen was still deep in sleep. King Wu was standing at the entrance of her room, watching her sleep, but he was constantly thinking something, looking at her as if there was a feeling telling him that it was not her, it was someone else. 

Lost in his thought, King Wu has already an hour just by thinking about it when his mind hits onto a thing. 'How did she took re-birth!? It is only possible if she would have that wishes jar, but neither I haven't given that to her, nor anyone else knows about it, then how is it possible?!'

He was thinking about it deeply, lost in his thoughts, and the expressions on his face said how confused he was.

Then suddenly, a cold breeze but with high velocity took wings of the curtain in the room, the dirty managed their way to get in, and the sun buried into the clouds. With the sound of blowing winds, the sound of something coming down doing a backflip and landed on the floor in the most silent way possible came to my ear as if some dove landed.

King Wu looked behind through the corner of his eyes, voiding his sight. He found the minister standing behind him, with the straightest face ever as if he was dead, wondering how the minister managed to come this way long without any trace of footsteps? At last, he is just a mere human anyways.

As soon as I opened my mouth to ask him, he told me something disturbing, which made me lose my balance. I tumbled a bit but managed to get back my consciousness as soon as I found that whatever the minister said is quite off and is not fitting into the situation.

As per the minister, the queen came back to life by the wishes given by the Gods. I looked around the room in search of the jar, but I couldn't find it anywhere. It was strange because he as never told about the wishes anyone or he might have?

He asked the minister about it, "How did you know about the wishes whereas I have never told anyone about it ?".

The minister stayed silent for some seconds while looking at the ground. I asked him once again when he looked up and said, "I had heard some humor about you that your life has been dangered by a demon, and so to save yourself, you have asked the god for your wishes."

"But who did you know that the wishes were in the jar? Were you searching my room?!"

"No, my lord, I can't go this cheap. I found it on the window when I was checking your room if it's clean or not. "

"Then you just took it without my permission!?"

"I was bringing it to you when I heard something from the queen room, so I went inside to check it. Found out that the queen was out of her tomb, which was way too much strange, so I went ahead to check."

"Then?"

"Then I don't remember really but, something flashed in the sky very bright to bind eyes, and the jar then slipped from my hand and shattered into pieces. From that broken jar, three white fireballs flew to the queen and went into her body. After a second queen waked up, I was scared to death. She flew to the sky and then vanished away." 

"After that, we couldn't find her, but later she was with you the whole time."

"Really?! Minister, do you think I would believe your stupid story?"

"It's not a story, my lord, please, believe me!"

I couldn't believe any less or more, so I left him there with no response.

I went back to my room, surprisingly found that queen isn't in the room, so I started looking everywhere. Again, surprisingly found her in the shower room, changing her clothes.

I just entered the room when she saw me and clenched back to hide. I didn't know why but I couldn't take my eyes off her until she threw her dress on my face. I then came back to my sense and went out of the room. 

The whole way to my room, I was only cursing myself for what an embarrassing thing I have done. I reached my room, went inside, and sat on the bed, trying to analyze what has happened to me. I fell back on the bed, still thinking about it. Trying to figure it out, I couldn't realize when I fell asleep.

What I have figured in all years of my life is that my life is full of surprises. And yet they are not over for the first time in my life I saw something so unusual with Fu Hao. When I slightly woke up, trying my eyes to get acquainted with the light, with the slight sight, I saw Hao on her dresser, combing her hair but with every evil smile on her face, dark eyes, and hair going white. Suddenly her sight fell on me, and she just stared at me while she cried- blood out of her eyes. 

At first, I couldn't believe it, so I smudged my eyes to clear the dust off. I couldn't found Hao on her dresser anymore, so I looked around, and to my surprise, she was sleeping beside me, holding my hand with our cat on her lap. I thought it was a bad dream and shook it off my brain. So I took a book and started reading to divert my mind.

But that thing was much more than just a nightmare for King Wu. After that, things went more unusual things started to happen and like that things went on for some time, until the night of no moon, when demons are on the pick of their power. And to his surprise again, Azazel had yet never crossed the path of King Wu, which was a little off for him.

"Things aren't going good and, this is stressing me out so much."

"What do you mean things aren't going well?", 

"Ohh- you weren't sleeping, little chicklet. Eavesdropping is not good-"suddenly Hao hugged Wu, making him swallow his words right there.

"I missed you so much. Why didn't you come back?",

King Wu sat properly on the bed with soberness.

"Fu Hao, only to save ourselves, I had to go-"

"Leaving me alone her for dying without you?"

"NO WAY- "

"THEN?"

"Try to understand, please!!",

"At least you could have told me once!?"

I stayed silent cause I didn't know what to answer to that question.

"I didn't want-"

"Ohh- so you didn't want to tell me, why? Am I an unknown person to you? Have I been so not important to you?! Don't you love me as you did before? Why have you changed so much."

"It's not like that. Let me finish my words, at least!"

"What will you achieve by finishing your words? You made me so alone, left me alone, here to die alone, without you!",

I always knew a Fu Hao who was my love, who was the queen of the kingdom, who was a warrior, and now what I see is someone different.

"I know how much you adore me and love me, and I have always believed that you would come back but never thought that it would be this late"

In no time, I could see her tears running down from her amber eyes. Nothing but her tears that made my heart broke into pieces, the tears that told the truth, and how much she loved me.

I looked down, ashamed of myself. I felched my waist and looked up to meet Hao's eyes, but her eyes were not looking at me, but they were looking at the window. I gathered all the courage and went forward and kissed her. Her first reaction was confusion, but later she started crying again. I stopped, looked up at her, she looked at me, our eyes met, and I told her what was hiding in my heart for so long.

"Fu Hao, it was always me alone in this world. I have never imagined anyone in my life to stay with me or never thought of having someone to love me more than how I love myself until I met you, my life went upside down, and you are the only one who changed my whole life.

You are the one whom I have ever loved, never the less you have always been the one with whom I wanted to live my life.

You came to my life as a beautiful dream, and to save this dream from breaking. I had to go, but I was unaware of the conscious and yet made another mistake."

"Please forgive me for what I have done, and I have never loved you less. I don't want to lose you, please Hao, understand me and don't leave me-"

"Wu!! What happened? Guards, call Bian Que immediately!!"

(During that time, the most famous doctor was Bian Que)

King Wu had fainted, and queen Fu Hao called the doctor immediately. The doctor examined him and what he said changed everyone's life from then and there.

"Why do I have to see the dreadful side only? Have I cursed this way by life?" Fu Hao said, regretting everything in her life.
