Chapter 3 My Savior Turned Out Who?

1366 Words
Amidst the crowds of people, my eyes stayed upon you and stilled. We were strangers, drifting from different ends of rivers yet meeting at a cross path of roads. Yet strangely enough, I could never forget your eyes and the little twitch of your lips. People drifted, in and out, yet you shined even among them, something I could never understand. What was it about you that caught my eyes? What was it about you that made me look forward to that street where I could see you occasionally? I didn't know, yet all I knew was that strangely, you were the first person I saw amidst my blank gaze in a blurred-out crowd...At first glance, her eyes sought out a stranger she had never seen before amidst seas of people. What was about him that enraptured her at first sight? A smile curled its way onto her lips, lighting up her eyes in a mischievous glint. Their gaze met as they stared upon each other before breaking apart, lost among the shadows of people. Rain drizzled, a gentle wind caressing her soft hair softly. She sat there, a glow among the shadowed house, a gentle figure that could be seen from miles away. There was not a single day that he did not miss her, his eyes on her, a curved smile on her lips. They would sit there for ages, beneath the cherry blossoms that bloom brightly in their presence. Days turned into months spent with her, and he had already grown accustomed to his presence. She was his companion, so deeply carved into his heart that he could no longer forget. But that was fine with him. He would cherish the days spent together, the memories they made, the habit of calling her name, even when she was no longer there to comfort his aching heart. That was fine with him, to carry her in his heart for the rest of the days with a gentle smile. They may have separated by life and death, yet whenever the rain drizzle as he sat there, it was like she never left. Days went by, King Wu couldn't think of anything rather than of her, he would sit under the blossom trees and rain would drizzle on him, making him feel like she has never left. Her presence was always there, he could feel her everywhere, in his lap, in his hand, in his heart, in his soul but he couldn't touch her. He went back to the castle and sat on his bed looking at the ceiling when it started raining. The weather became soothing, the smell of rain covered the whole place. When a sudden white light lightened the whole place, King Wu got up from his bed and looked for the light source when he found that the light source was coming from the glass jar of wishes. He remembered that the Shangdi's gave him their powers. These could make any dead person an angel and alive, but he was puzzled that if he did so for her wife it might be in danger because she has to fight the demon. He wouldn't think about anything, so he left the palace, to the cherry blossom trees, to seat under them and feel nothing but a little bit good. Only a minute was passed, and there was already someone to break the goodness of the cherry blossom. The king opened his left eye to see who broke the silence and found that there was a man, same as his height, body pale as pearl and worn all black and red clothes, with red rot eyes, and a skin which shows all the vein and the blood vessels of him through his skin. In just one glaze, King Wu couldn't take off his eyes from his body and face features. For a second, he thought that he was a God too from his pale skin but then he realized that, then God doesn't wear black 'cause black is considered to signify darkness, but that's the beauty too, which makes everything more elegant and classy. Just like that, the Gods are all white and gives life to all kinds of life forms, then black gives it the ultimate depth, without black no color would have its depth. Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy, but mysterious. After seeing him, King Wu couldn't take his off and just stare at him only for the next ten until he opened his mouth to say something. King Wu then asked, "Are you looking for something over here 'stranger' ?" Right before the stranger would say anything, the stranger didn't like being occluded while he was about to say something. He looked at Wu with disgust and repulsiveness in the eyes. After some time, he tended to speak something but was again blocked by a passer passing by them. The passer looked at King Wu and when his first glaze fell on the King he, with the speed of light sat on his knees and bowed the King. The stranger got the Idea that he was the king. And without any further wait, he asked him to confirm if he was the king. King Wu nodded his head saying, "yes, I am the king. How can I help you, stranger? " while gesturing the passer to go away and then the passer left. The stranger gave a very big smirk on his face and said, " if this way thing would go on, it would be much easier to work" looking down at the King. The king's gut feelings said that the stranger is not here with any good intentions and he should be ready for whatever is coming beforehand. " What do you mean by 'much easier? Are you looking for something?" the King asked the stranger." Ohh- Yeah I'm looking for the King, just making sure, are you the king?" the stranger asked the King. " Umm- yeah it's me. Tell me how I can help you?" the King asked. " yeaaa- You can help in just one way," the stranger said with an evil smile on his face. " How-" " give me your life, I shall give you a peaceful death by killing you in just fractions of seconds," the stranger said as his eyes changed their color to more dark red. It was no longer when his beautiful eyes turned themselves into some horrifying bloody red and started drifting from his eyes like tears falling out. " Well, I guess you are not getting my life so easily," the king said as he took out his sword and placed it at his neck at the speed of light. " Ohh- you are pretty fast. Then you must have also guessed who I am, didn't you?" King Wu realized the second that it was never the less Azazel. " ohhh- yeah Of course I did when you transformed yourself" As Azazel continued to transform his body, he grew some big red wings on his back, his eyes went black and his skin turned even paler. His hair was black as ebony and he looked more horrifying but never less he was also so attractive at that time too that the King still couldn't take his eyes off from his beauty. King Wu knew it was coming beforehand, that his life was threatened by the demon. But now that his love was no more alive, he didn't want to live, neither fight because for whom he would fight? He did all that just to save his wife, but what did he get in return? Her death-? " Well, If you want to kill me you can go ahead," King Wu said. But as he left his head to look at Azazel he found that an arrow has been shoot onto Azazel's arm to stop him from reaching his dagger to his neck to kill him. He turned around to found who was his savior from his death, and to the lord of all fantasies, it was his wife who saved him!  -To Be Continued When The Demons Amidst Her
