"Did I hurt you?" Edward asked, giving Cosette a concerned look.
Cosette wiped her tears and turned to embrace Edward's waist.

"Don't talk, let me hug you for a while," Cosette told him.
Edward fell silent and held Cosette in his arms.
Their hug lasted for nearly an hour until Cosette fell asleep in Edward's arms.
