Edward looked at Elliot, "What do you think?"
Elliot repeated what Edward had just said, then admitted that it would actually be better for the continuity of the story.
Despite himself, Ethan felt disappointed that he had lost the chance for being intimacy with Cosette.
Elliot asked for Leyla to be called to the set.
"Great," Edward replied, "I won't bother you guys anymore. I need to get back to work."
There was no need for Edward to stay any longer. He had already accomplished what he had set out to do.
Elliot smiled, "Thank you ever so much for your suggestion today. It will be much better than the original script. Maybe we could have dinner together when you're free."
Edward turned to Earl and asked, "When do I have a free evening in my schedule?"
