The training room of the Wind Film Group occupied a whole floor, and when the three ladies arrived, there were already many people standing around. When Anna brought Cosette in, everyone turned and looked them over curiously, which was not surprising. After all, Anna was not only famous, but she was also irreplaceable.
One of the men walked over, smiled flirtatiously, and said, "Welcome, Anna! What can I do for you?"
Anna turned a blind eye to the man's flattery and said, "Romeo, this is Cosette, and she will be training with the other newcomers."
Romeo looked at Cosette, and his eyes lit up. "Is this a new artist?" he wondered.
Anna nodded her head but said nothing.
Romeo winked at Cosette and said, "Sounds good. Rest assured that you are in good hands. I am one of the best trainers in the business."
Anna looked at Jasmine and said, "Do your best to follow Cosette during this time. If anything happens, be sure to let me know about it as soon as possible."
Jasmine nodded and said, "Sure, don't worry."
And then, without saying another word, Anna left. Once she was gone, Romeo had everyone gather around him, with Cosette by his side, and once he had their attention, he said, "This is Cosette. She is one of the company's newest artists. Starting today, she will train with us." After that, Romeo asked Cosette to say a few words about herself – which she did. Then, as they dispersed, Jasmine whispered in her ear: "These people are all new recruits, like you. Unlike you, though, they don't have contracts, so you need to be careful. They might be jealous or spiteful towards you.
Cosette nodded casually, and then she found a place to sit down. She didn't care what other people thought about her.
Suddenly, a young girl sat down beside her. She was smiling. There were dimples in her cheeks, which made her look cute, and she seemed friendly. The girl ran her hands through her hair shyly, and she said, "Hi, my name is Lisa."
Cosette: "Hello there, I'm Cosette."
Lisa: "You are very beautiful. Can I be your friend?"
Cosette smiled and said, "You are very cute."
Lisa: "Oh, thank you."
If the situation had occurred a few years ago, Cosette would have talked enthusiastically with Lisa. Now, all Cosette could do was smile. She had learned in the intermittent years that you could not make friends in the entertainment industry. The entertainment was about profits, not friendships. Cosette's expression turned cold as she thought about this, and Lisa made no further attempts to befriend her.

The training was hard. Anna said that it was "devil-style" training, and she hadn't been exaggerating. By the time noon came around, Cosette felt like she was dying. Jasmine noticed that she looked parched, and she brought her some water. Before Cosette could take the water bottle, though, a figure walked in front of Jasmine and knocked it out of her hand. The bottle broke, and the water splashed all over the place.
The girl turned and laughed. "Oh, I'm sorry," she said.
Jasmine scowled and said, "Selina, you did that on purpose! We both saw it!"
"Are you accusing me?" Selina hissed.
Cossette looked Selina in the eyes and said, "You can drop the act. Nobody's buying it." Then she turned to Jasmine and said, "I am thirsty, though. Go and get Selina's water. She can replace the one she broke with her own. Fair is fair."
Jasmine was shocked when she heard Cosette's words. "Cosette, what do you mean?"
Cosette: "Selina is always relying on her rich dad. She's so arrogant. I'll be happy to teach her a lesson today."
Jasmine: "Yeah, I suppose that it is about time someone did!"
Selina frowned as she realized that they were attracting a crowd. "Enough!" she shouted. "Nobody is touching my water bottle!"
After hearing Selina's roar, the room went silent. After a moment, Selina looked at Cosette disdainfully, mockingly, and said, "All you are is a pretty face. How many men did you need to hook up with to get into the company – how many c***s did you need to suck?"
Everyone turned to Cosette to see how she would respond. Cosette's beauty was the biggest threat to these women. Selina walked over to Cosette and sneered, "Why don't you speak? Is it because I've told the truth?"
Cosette looked at Selina and chuckled.
"Why are you laughing?" Selina asked.
Cosette: "I'm laughing because you're jealous of me. Even if I rely on men to advance my career, at least I can. You, of course, do not have the face for it. Would you like me to introduce you to a good plastic surgeon? God didn't give you a good-looking face, but modern technology could help fix that!"
"f**k!" Selina looked at Cosette bitterly, and a man behind her laughed. Selina turned and asked him, "What are you laughing at?" Before Selina could reply, though, Peter and Professor Paul Pearson arrived, along with a wise-looking old man, and she was forced to swallow her anger and wounded pride.
Paul Pearson was a giant in the entertainment industry. He had made his debut as a teenager and was a famous actor by the age of twenty. Then, as his career took off, he began directing films instead of acting in them.
Many people lamented that the entertainment industry was about to lose a talented actor. However, when Paul's directorial debut came out, their minds were quickly changed. The movie was stunning, and it broke numerous Box-Office records. Because Paul was so famous, Cosette was surprised that he was a teacher at the Wind Film Group, and she wondered if he was also there to scout new talent – and she wondered who the old man was.
The old man's hair was pale and white, but Cosette thought that he had wise-looking eyes.
