When we reached the packhouse, Jace was waiting for us in the lobby with two fresh suits and shoes for the event. Danny sat on the sectional with her legs crossed and her eyes on her phone. She ignored us as we walked in.
“Welcome back, Alpha,” Danny said.
She blew a bubble and it popped before she looked up. Duke had already began changing but I ignored her glare as I walked over and grabbed my slacks. I already knew why she was upset but I’d rather eat my paw then entertain her. Danny hated that I was taking a chosen mate but she hated who I had chosen even more.
“I’ll get the car ready,” Duke grunted as soon as he was dressed. I ignored her as I finished dressing.
