CHAPTER FOURTEEN There was a feeling of excitement in the stuffy air of the little conference room when Riley and her colleagues arrived. Chief Belt had called his own cops and other members of the FBI team together in the Sattler police station. The meeting was already in progress. Chief Belt got up from his chair at the end of the table. He said, “Agents Paige, Jeffreys, Roston—you got here just in time!
