Sarah Parker,moved slowly but carefully,not letting her anger show on her beautiful eyes, She searched for James at the hotel where she had left him seated buy he wasn't there.

Then a waiter approached her and pointed where James was seated at the coffee shop.

love is a complex emotion that knows no boundaries and concerns,sometimes it leads us to unexpected places. Sarah in her introverted ways was now falling head over heels for Judge Arden, it didn't matter whether he was a family friend or not but as the teams were at the moment it was apparent that no not everyone is going to support their bond.

" I thought you might never come out of that room you two went to hide!" James pointed out,squinting his cunning eyes playerfully at her.

" I feel ill, sometimes am affected by heavy scents of cigar and booze," Sarah replied pulling a chair on the table and sitting on it ,she appeared in distress .

" Is that why you look like lightening just struck you and disfigured your beautiful face!" James asked beckoning at a waiter ,so she could old a beverage.

" Do I look that bad?' .She giggled.

" Considering how excited you were when you got out of that table ,I would say ,you really don't look well!" He was concerned.

Sarah ignored him and ordered another plate of fries and chicken" Stop staring at me ,I just puked everybit of everything I ate earlier!' She made some monkey faces at James.

"What did this Judge feed you?, is it you who is in love with him or are you forcing issues!" James put on a straight face and enquired.

" I think am in love with him !" Sarah admitted excitedly.

" Sarah are you sure about this?He is your father's friend and there might be ulterior motives involved, it doesn't seem right do you know who is a Judge?" James asked concerned.

" Ofcourse he is a human being and he shows some interest in me too!"Sarah defended him.

" He is a human being but above all he is a very respected figure in the community, do you know how many women can be dying to have him? do you know why he chooses you over all those career women's or haven't you thought about it?" James sipped on his coffee stealing side glances at her. He saw her get in shock and then shook her head ,like she was weighing what he had said.

" I have not thought about other women I only think of how he makes me feel isn't that enough!" Sarah replied confused.

" I want to ask you something please and I don't want you to get offended in this relationship who started hitting on the other?" James bombed her with questions?.

" I think I am the one initially he was not in there but all of a sudden he started showing some interest like a problem and here we are!" Sarah spoke out , shrugged her shoulders.

" Sarah you've got guts!, where did you get the audacity to stand in front of that gigantic figure with broad shoulders and big muscles and confess of your love for him or how did you do it!" James could not believe it.

"When I was discussing with him about my feelings, the broad shoulders and his gigantic figure were not qualities that I was afraid of, remember it's not like it's the first time I am seeing him, I have seen him like a thousand times and every time I saw him the same feeling came creeping in my body, in my sleep and it repeated itself the next time that he appeared so I just spoke my heart feelings," Sarah told him.

" I still think you should trend wisely!" James imagined the torture.

" I think you're strongly based on the negative side of things. Judge Arden is such an amazing person and he treats me with respect and kindness. I believe in our connection," Sarah shook his head defensively.

" I understand your feelings Sarah, but even if we have not known each other for long, I can see we will have such a strong friendship and I just don't want to see you get hurt!" James reteliated in a skeptical manner.

" Just because you got hurt it doesn't mean I will follow your predicament but I appreciate your concern if only you could trust me, I am willing to expose this connection with judge Aiden regardless of what others may think!".Sarah's tone was indifferent.

" I know you do not have many friends but I have to tell you this I can't believe that you're involved with Judge Arden and you are so blind you can't find anything wrong with that relationship?have you noticed your age difference!" James said disheartedly.

Sarah was calm , she looked at James and wondered why people would not think it possible for an older man to be with a young Lady, She had undergone school acquired her master's and now a professional Auditor, In that journey her eyes were open , her school mates, lectures, Soo many boys of her age and yet the only person who made her heart jiggle was Judge Arden.

"James, I understand that you may have reservations, but I have made my decision.Judge Arden is a remarkable person and he makes me happy.Can you be happy for me and even try to make my father understand!" Sarah said calmly.

" I have seen people like Jay-Z and before wealth power and Influence can cloud one's judgement and intentions I fear that he might be taking advantage of you," James said frustrated.

" I know that you care for me but nobody can dictate who I should love.Judge Arden has shown me nothing but warmth and sincerety, You need to trust my judgement and give him a chance ," Sarah defended him defiantly, to this stranger who was questioning her and they only met the day before.

" Okay finish up and let me take you home ,your father has been calling several times!" James diverted from her relationship issues.

" My phone is silent am afraid,he must have tried to reach me too!" Sarah intercepted. She reached out on her bag and took out her phone, she checked it out and her father had called her and also the Judge had called.

" Why keep your phone silent , being outside the house ,your phone should be near you, anything can happen and you receive an important call!" James advised her.

" Most of the time I am home, I don't deal with clients and my father is home ,it's a habit I should try to break!" Sarah scoffed.

" Now your alone time is dissapearing , You got me and the Judge, we will be calling even at unusual hours of the night," James laughed at his truth joke.

" midle of the night ?"

"Ofcourse,if the need be you must wake up for emotional support?" James muttered.

" Talking about emotions ,how is your girlfriend? , has she called?Sarah asked.

" Sincerely,she hasn't called. I think she is done and dusted," James said with no emotions attached.

Sarah eyed him , what had really changed, it's like he never cared anymore," is the pain gone or did the night out heal him ?".

" You sound like you done and dusted too, what's that tone? arrogancy?"Sarah arched her brows and scrutinized the man.

"What's the need of crying over spilt milk, I was sent a video she was with boys flaunting in the neighborhood,how can I be seen with her again !" James asked.

"Seen by who?"

" People ofcourse! She has lost her morals ,now the society no longer looks at her the same, to me she has upgraded to shamelessness,Must she shout her character and our break up !" James was in pain saying those words, Sarah noticed and she just stared. The pain is personal you can't change it.

" My God she is young she needs to explore!" .Sarah said .

" Why aren't you exploring ,lam seated right next to you,to coax you to be my girlfriend that was the initial plan , but you know what you want ,even our observations and advice can't move you!" James said irritably.

" We are different remember?" .

Sarah smiled ,she could have wanted to know more, about how close they were,how many times did they make love, because with the little information she had that girl must be a spoilt brat.

" She doesn't deserve you, you are a nice person ,She don't know what they just lost!" Sarah said,it's the best she could have done for her.

" Let's go it's getting very late!,hope you enjoyed and yearning for another dinner!" James smiled.

" Ofcourse!".

" I need you sonnest to make sure your Judge has restored the vigour back to that face !" He was sarcastic , she had returned to normal and as not in any mood to discuss what that one hour entailed off.

" An recovering soonest,". she could not open up to him about , her meeting him the following day, she can't trust him a hundred percent,she should not forget he was here because her Father wanted him here.
