“I trust she’s arrived?” Albert Pickering asked, as he surrendered his hat and coat to his long-time friend, confidant, and fellow-enthusiast.
“Oh, yes. She’s already been prepared. She’s in the drawing room. We are to call her ‘Fiona’ by the way. I think you’ll find she will meet our needs quite nicely,” Higgins added with a knowing grin, as he took the proffered hat and coat and neatly placed them in the hall closet.
