* * *~*ALINA POV*~* * * My eyes feel like sandpaper as I try to open them- completely raw and sore, and I’m sure they’re swollen. Even though I’m facing one wall, I can tell it’s a small room. The earthy smell does little to hide the musk, as if it’s been sealed for a long time and didn’t have time to air out. A glow from a lantern or candle behind me is all the light I get, and there’s really nothing here.
