I can feel the heat of the sun as it starts to rise from the horizon. I open my eyes, only to see the most beautiful sight in front of me. I knew I shouldn’t have slept so close to her, but it seems in our sleep, both of our bodies turned towards each other, and inched closer, not like I minded. Her face seems so damn peaceful as she sleeps, and I smile as her mouth partially opens, breathing loudly. She definitely needed sleep.
I press my chances, and run the back of my fingers on her cheek. “Alina….” Her mouth closes and lifts just a tad. “Alina, it’s time to get up…”
“Five more minutes, Caden,” she says dreamily.
