It’s been three days since Caden and most of his group have left the castle. Three days of feeling alone, afraid, and downright sick thinking about what I’ve agreed to.
My father has checked in with me multiple times a day, telling me that it would never be too late to cancel the arrangements, but I won’t let everyone down. I owe it to them, especially him and mom. Call it atoning for my sins for taking away my wolf, or showing that I can do something… anything… to help out this cause, eases some of the guilt that I’ve stored for so many years.
Even if it comes with a heavy price.
