His Desired Luna

Chapter 5

I was battered and bruised, but I was alive. I was taken to the Alpha's den, where I was chained up. The Alpha stood over me, a cruel smile on his face. "You thought you could escape me, didn't you?" he said.

I said nothing, refusing to give him the satisfaction of a response. The Alpha's smile faded, and his eyes narrowed. "You'll regret defying me," he said. And then, to my horror, he left the den, locking me inside. I was trapped, and I knew that my fate was uncertain.

The Alpha Charles face hardened once more. "Jane," he said, his voice cold and hard.

I turned around, my eyes wide with fear. "Please, don't hurt me," I pleaded. But the Alpha was not moved. "You should have thought of that before you ran away," he said. And with that, he moved towards me, his intent known.

One of the servants came to inform me that Jane had been captured by the Red Amour Pack, my heart sank.I have come to care for Jane, and now she was in danger.

Kira approached towards me, a smug smile on her face. I was too angry to notice her antics this time, she wanted me to herself but I don’t love or even find her attractive, she could be the most beautiful she wolf in the Pack but I stil have no attraction for her and she has always wanted me to be with her after since I lost my dear wife. I’m too angry right now to even notice her, all that I care about right now is how to rescue Jane.

"Now she’s where she belong," Kira said. But I just stared at her, my eyes cold.

I was furious when I heard that Jane had been taken by the Red Amour Pack. I knew that the Red Amour Pack's Alpha had only one goal: to take over my pack. And now he had taken the one person who has been close to my heart just recently .

I called my warriors together and gave them orders to find Jane and bring her back. But as they prepared for battle, I also prepared to go with them, I can’t just sit and do nothing, I needed to rescue Jane. We set out to the Red Amour Pack, we started searching for traces of Jane. It wasn’t easy but we had to keep searching, it was still early hours of the day and the darkness was still intact.

The Red Amour Pack was a big Pack. As I set out to find Jane , I knew it wouldn't be easy. The Red Amour Pack was known for being ruthless, and I had no idea what condition they'd left Jane in.

I couldn't stop thinking about her, worrying about what she might be going through. I hoped that I would find her before it was too late. As I traveled, I couldn't help but replay the events of the past few days in my head. I had done everything I could to keep Jane safe, but it hadn't been enough.

After days of searching, we separated in different ways and finally I looked to see Jane in a small cave locked from the outside.

I finally found Jane , lying in a cave , battered and bruised.

I ran to her, taking in her condition with horror. She was barely conscious, and her breathing was shallow and labored.

As I knelt down to open the cave where she was locked , I could feel my heart breaking. I had failed her. "I'm so sorry," I whispered, y my voice cracking. I knew it wasn't enough, but I didn't know what else to say. I jusst continued to struggle to open the cave , praying that she would be okay.

I ran to her and took her in my arms. "What happened?" I asked, my voice shaking. I can’t believe I was this emotional about the girl I just found very recently.

Jane told me about how Kira had told Alpha Charles men where she hid in the Pack, how Kira told them about the tunnel and she was eventually captured. Jane had barely escaped with her life.

I felt a surge of anger and protectiveness. I would not let anyone hurt Jane again. I made a vow to myself that I would do everything in my power to keep her safe.

We got back to the Blue Moon Pack, I was so tired to speak , Alpha's kens anger was palpable. He turned to Kira, his eyes blazing. "You've put Jane in danger," he said. "Do you realize what that means?"

The she wolf Kira scoffed. “She has always been in danger, as long as she’s here with you," she said. But the Alpha wasn't having any of it. "I won't let you ruin this pack," he said. And then, he did the one thing he'd been trying to avoid. He banished Kira from the Pack.

Even as the Alpha banished her from the pack, the jealous she wolf Kira refused to give up. She had always wanted the Alpha for herself, and she wasn't about to let me get in her way.

I knew that she would begin to plot. I heard from other she wolfs that she tried everything she could think of to win the Alpha's heart. She flirted with him, tried to make him jealous, and even tried to sabotage other she wolfs. But nothing seemed to work. The Alpha's heart was set on someone else but no one knows who that person is.

The moment Kira left Alpha Ken held me close, and as he did, something changed. It was as if I could feel my pain, my fear, and my longing. And in that moment, I realized something. That he could have fallen in love. I have been trying to deny it, but now I know it was true. And as he held me, he vowed to do everything in gist power to make things right. To make things up to me. And to never let me go again. "Jane," he whispered, "I love you. Please don't leave me."

I opened my eyes, and for a moment, I wasn’t so sure where I was or what was happening. And then, I saw the Alpha, and everything came rushing back. The danger, the fear, and the relief of being found. And as I looked at the Alpha, I knew that I felt something too. I loved him, with all my heart. "I love you too," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. And then, I closed my eyes, resting my head against the Alpha's chest, finally feeling safe.

But somehow, I felt that I wasn’t really safe.
