Jane watched as her son played with the other children in the park. He was running around, laughing and smiling, and she felt her heart swell with pride and joy. Seeing him so happy was one of the greatest gifts she could have ever received. It was then that she noticed a little girl standing off to the side, watching the other children play. She looked a little sad, and Jane felt a pang of sympathy. She decided to approach the girl and see if she could help. Jane was struck by the girl's resemblance to herself.
