LENA'S POV I left him, my steps echoing down the hallway until I reached the sanctuary of my bedroom. Closing the door behind me, I leaned against it, the silence pressing down on me. My thoughts raced, spinning wildly around the fact that Damien had found me. How had he tracked me down so quickly? My mind churned through the possibilities, each more unsettling than the last. I sank onto the soft comfort of my bed, feeling the weight of the world pressing down on me.
