Chapter 5
Before he was even fully awake, Henry was aware his lover was lying by his side, his head on Henry’s chest, one arm across Henry’s stomach, and a leg draped across Henry’s. Full wakefulness came slowly, and Henry relished every second. He wrapped his arms around Jimmy and smiled. It was Christmas morning, and he held a most precious gift in his arms.
Henry wondered if it were still snowing. He knew that they would have to leave the cabin at some point, but somehow returning to the outside world, with all its cares and responsibilities, didn’t appeal to him. He’d much rather stay here where their worries were few, and the only thing they had to do was love each other.
