Conner POV They’d come home late last night, because he was trying to make sure that Atlas stayed away from his sudden obsession. The packhouse had been in darkness and he’d taken the elevator, not the stairs. It was closer to his room than hers. His beast was settled and sleeping and as long as he didn’t actively think about the human, neither did his beast, it seemed, so that was a start. He was happy about that.
