I observed with curiosity as Amber gradually descended into a profound slumber. In a moment of nostalgia, I let out a sigh and allowed myself to be transported back to the past, reliving cherished memories.
Ivy and I had fun as children; I never thought such a hard destiny would be given to her.
“Ivy,” I whispered, knowing she was awake within Amber.
“Ivy, show yourself,” I demanded in a soft tone.
Amber’s entire body glowed golden as a beautiful girl with blonde hair and a dragon tail materialized before me, diving into my arms.
“Ivy, you have grown,” I gasped, looking at the fully grown adult she had now become.
“I remember you as a short, chubby little dragon,” I joked with her.
