The directions were excellent: Luke only made three wrong turns. He put those down to the unfamiliar, snow-blanketed environment, the fact dusk was approaching and that there weren’t many street lights around. Finally, through the gloom, he saw a little sign atop a gatepost that announced “Johnson’s Piggeries”. Luke’s nervousness increased. Whatever had motivated him to meet Andy seemed to have fled. He could hardly go up to the door, knock on it and say “I was just passing, so I thought I’d return your jacket?” The farm was in the middle of nowhere; one wouldn’t ever be just passing.
