ISABELLA’S POV
The sky was already dark by the time we arrived home. My mind was still boggled by the incident earlier, but I couldn’t show my raging emotions in front of my babies. I can’t let them see how affected I was or else, they’ll immediately notice something.
After eating our dinner, I led the twins to their bedroom. Then I reminded them once again that we needed to stay home for the next three days because of the Annual Council Meeting.
