Sneaking out of the mansion was task enough. I had to do a lot of hiding and dodging. Tatiana was of good help but not enough. I still met one or two dignitaries that I couldn't avoid. I just had to smile and not as if they were congratulating me. Admittedly, it was kind of awkward because most of them didn't know me or met me before. So, they were just doing this out of courtesy or to be granted favor with Alpha Damon.
Even when I reached the kitchen, the omegas were paying unusual attention. I know it's a bit strange to see me in the kitchen on this kind of day. That is probably why they were paying much attention.
