I thought my night was going to be awful, but I slept like a baby. For a while now, I haven't been able to sleep well because of the issue between Belinda and me.
I guess subconsciously, when we made up, I couldn't help but crash on the bed. I slept like I had no care in the world fire could be burning out there and I would still be snoring heavily.
I woke up a bit later than usual, so I decided that after washing up and having a change of clothes, I'd wait in my office as I sent for Belinda.
Alas! When I stepped out, she was the first person I saw. Even though she looked as beautiful as ever, I can only imagine that she didn't do as well as I did.
“Alpha Damon.”
Belinda bowed, courteously as she greeted. I couldn't resist her as I kissed her hands.
