Chapter 14Eli more or less ran into the bedroom—Jaecar’s bedroom. He needed to rest, but there were so many things swirling around in his head, so many emotions—both his and Jaecar’s. Eli never meant to hurt him, and yet he did over and over again.
But what had he planned on doing out there? Kiss him? Eli suspected so, but he didn’t realize what he’d done until he’d pulled back.
He laid on the bed, on top of the cover, and tried to shut Jaecar out. He was in shark-mode again. Animal. He allowed his animal to think, and while there were some human reactions to it, it took away a lot of emotions.
Eli didn’t know, but he suspected Jaecar allowed his panther to decide on the course of action, and then his human side decided if it was the right thing to do legally. There were no hurt feeling
