I walked out of the elevator to the 25th floor, relieved to get out of that tiny space. The restaurant was packed just as expected. While Nicholas talked to the host, I let my gaze wander around the spacious dining hall, from its contemporary Chinese floral and geometric patterns to its sophisticated-looking diners. Looking around, I did the right thing making an effort to look nice. Then the host was leading us to one of the private dining rooms.
