“Come on, we’ll talk in my office, there I would introduce you to our club.”
As I walked with her to the said office I gazed around myself, noticing that I was looking like a sore thumb between all these people in here with a black jeans and off white hoodie. Whereas the women here were scantly dressed in red, if one could call them dressed that is, and the men were all in suits with expensive watches adoring their wrists and shoes that even I could tell were designers. I knew enough about clothing that I knew they were all rich, I had come across men like these when I had lived with Gabe. He too liked to display his wealth whenever he could but with me he was just Gabe. And now as I thought about him sudden longing hit me with such force that tears sprang up in my eyes.
