The thrill of the chase filled me again as I darted through the trees, my senses heightened. I could hear Faruk following close behind, his powerful strides gaining on me. I had found him hiding in the trunk of an old tree and he was now trying to catch me. I pushed myself harder, leading us deeper into the forest until the sound of rushing water reached my ears.
