I rubbed my eyes and blinked twice to make sure I was seeing right, even after that I still saw red eyes looking at me through the leaves of a tree, it was at that point that I actually got scared and wanted to run away. My instincts told me to run but my mind was telling me to wait, I already knew what it was, it was a damn new blood and it was here to attack so why wasn't I running, but more importantly, why wasn't it attacking, it was just looking at me.
