20. A date night

Alessio watches the cleaners move around and they stick the note to a T. Nobody opens the glass door even with his most adorable pose and big puppy dog eyes. He even hears the cooing and admiration, but nothing. He waits for a few more minutes after the alarm is armed again and a white van with the cleaning service logo drives off. He can see it through the tiny gaps in the fence. Getting up and stretching is part of his wolf's way to let him know the shift won’t happen just yet. ‘That meat looks too good to let it go to waste.’ The wolf informs him and pads over to the bowls. ‘I knew it.
