Chapter 9By the time the ship docked at the Tasoran port, Liseny was starting to think he might’ve been better off never being rescued from Enthmore at all. His head had not stopped pounding since waking curled up on the rug in front of the cold hearth, and his throat was raw from all the vomiting that happened as soon as he was vertical. He’d hoped his stomach was empty when they boarded, but apparently not. His only reprieve was Tearnal allowing him to lie down in his quarters so at least he didn’t embarrass himself in front of the crew. It also kept him away from Tanash. He couldn’t face him.
