Chapter 4The sun was nearly gone when they saw the rocky shore of Tasora on the horizon, and though Liseny roused himself in anticipation of reaching it, they took another two hours to get close enough to warrant getting out and hauling the boat the rest of the way. The waves were the roughest of their long journey, icy water slapping at his thighs, and he had to grit his teeth to stay true to their task. He was sure Tanash could bear the weight on his own, but while he made no complaints, Tanash had grown slower as the day slipped behind them, his shoulders not quite as square as they’d been standing in Liseny’s doorway.
