Cinda helped clear away the dinner setting. No one was eating out here tonight, dinner was not going to happen. She hoped William would want to come back another time and have dinner with Lori and Dan. It would be nice to bring her two worlds together. It was about time. It was also why she was here on some level, and she knew it. Lori had gone to a lot of trouble and all for nothing now, it seemed. They both still ate just in the small dining nook off to the right of the kitchen. Cinda left them to it, Lori had made her a cup of tea when she’d declined to eat anything. The storm arrived.
