Cinda's eyes snapped open, woke with a feeling of dread filling her entire body. She was uncertain as to what had woken her. She sat bolt upright in her bed and looked around, her heart was racing and every fibre of her being, told her she was not alone in this house. Her bedroom was pitch black with the door closed and all the lights in the house were off. She had made sure to walk through the house and lock up, checked the locks herself, had made a mental note to do so, like she used to back at the apartment, after the break in occurred. So she knew the house was locked up tight and she was safe going to bed.
